Welcome! The Chicago chapter of our Democracy Book Club is the first group that will meet in person. It will serve as somewhat of a test group, as members will have the opportunity to read books in advance that we’re considering for the monthly club and provide feedback.
We’re kicking off this month with The Nerd Reich, a recently-released bestseller about the efforts of a small group of wealthy individuals that is waging a campaign to systematically dismantle our government and democracy. If you want a preview, check out this interview with the author, Gil Durán.

We’ll be discussing our first book on Sunday, October 18th at 4pm. The location will be shared with people who join below. Joining will also keep you up-to-date on future book club meetings.
